What drew you to this lifestyle?
I had the opportunity to design my own narrowboat

What do you wish you knew beforehand?
How much birds can poo!

Something you can’t live without on your boat?
A hull!

What do you love most about life on the water?
Sunsets, being surrounded by nature

Any particularly memorable moments or mishaps?
Overflowing toilet for all the wrong memories.

Tips for any new boat owners?
Hire a boat in winter, run out of water, gas and coal. If you still enjoy it, boating is for you
