Lakeland Leisure Estates partners with organisations who we believe can make a difference to the world around us, from Canals and Rivers Trust, providing accessible green and blue space for all to enjoy, to smaller events like MacMillan Coffee mornings helping raise money for people affected by cancer.
The Canals & Rivers Trust (CRT) provide a space where people can feel happier and healthier, nature is recovering, and history is alive. A space for boating, angling, cycling, walking, paddling or just watching the world drift by.
Our canals and rivers run through some of the most heavily populated communities in England and Wales, providing accessible green and blue space where it’s needed the most.
That’s why CRT works with volunteers and communities across England and Wales to transform canals and rivers into spaces where local people want to spend time and feel better. Bringing wellbeing opportunities to millions.
CRT maintains 2000-miles of canals & rivers, making sure that 2,980 bridges, 1,580 locks and 335 aqueducts are open and ready for use all day, every day.
Lakeland Leisure Estates supports CRT through our network access agreements; with just shy of £1 million provided to date. CRT is reliant on boat owners’ and boating businesses to support their continued work and ensure the canal system is maintained for all to enjoy.

We stand firmly in support of Ukraine, and in support of peace and freedom.
Like millions of people around the world, we’re heartbroken by the ongoing crisis unfolding in Ukraine, a sovereign nation where millions of innocent people have been forcibly displaced from their homes, their lives, and their families. The right to safety and freedom should never be partisan. so, like many others, we would like to do what we can to help in any way we can.
We have started a donation page raising funds to support the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal run by The British Red Cross Society
Across our sites, we have held events to raise money for this cause and we hope that you will join us to show your support for the people of Ukraine.
Lakeland Leisure Estates supports the great work of the Guillemot trust, enabling young people to enjoy sailing experiences from Deganwy Marina.
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising event. Each year, across our parks and marinas, join many others and hold a Coffee Morning with the donations received going towards Macmillan services. This year we raised over £800 across our events.
