As the Long Ashes Park Office Manager and Administrator you’ll be responsible for the smooth operation of the park through reception, sales and administrative duties. You’ll support the Park Manager in all aspects of Park management, maintenance and sales and be passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

Your new responsibilities:

  • To deal with enquiries from the general public and park home, lodge and caravan owners in a professional and friendly manner.
  • To record and update owners personal and invoicing information on our account management system and inform the head office, in accordance with GDPR legislation.
  • To allocate pitches to potential customers and follow up sales leads and maximise revenue.
  • To work with the Head Office to minimise debtors onsite.
  • To accept and record deliveries, processing the paperwork correctly whilst assisting in stock reporting, sending the reports onto Head Office.
  • Complete weekly head office paperwork in a timely manner, assist with rota’s, timesheet reporting, recruitment, staff inductions and management of the team, and prepare and collate confidential employee paperwork for payroll and human resources.
  • To record and balance daily and weekly sales transactions.
  • To support the Park Manager in ensuring safety checks are complied with and records are kept up to date, in line with Company procedure.
  • To oversee as required, the lodge hire fleet including responding to enquiries, managing bookings and assisting with check-in and check-out queries.
  • To assist with sales administration.
  • To ensure the general tidiness of the office and site overall.
  • Provide a professional and knowledgeable sales service for caravans and park homes.
  • Receive enquiries regarding park home and caravan purchases and respond with the appropriate information.
  • Meet prospective purchasers, define requirements, explain procedure and costs and send letters regarding purchase details.
  • Ensure prospective purchasers meet the criteria for purchase in terms of their financial position, secure 10% deposit and submit orders to manufacturers where applicable.
  • With the Park Manager, liaise all parties efficiently to ensure a smooth and professional sales process.
  • Ensure all documentation is prepared and processed as necessary including insurance, site licence, formal agreement and general information package.
  • Sell caravans on behalf of owners ensuring all supportive administration is undertaken in accordance with procedure and legislation.
  • Advise on Park Home sales and coordinate with estate agents, when required.
  • Complete sales and purchase ledger as required and reconcile park accounts on a daily basis.
  • Record all money received and bank regularly, reporting to head office.
  • Assist in the organisation of exhibitions and attending such events to promote the park and register prospective purchaser interest.
  • Ensure an effective record system is in place for all procedures and transactions.
  • Work as a team member caring for customers and cooperating with other departments and functions in support of the park’s objectives.
  • Receive all delivery notes and invoices, attach to order forms.
  • Maintain a petty cash float and ensure effective procedures in support.
  • Order gas, stationery and other items as required, maintaining a record system in support.

As the Woodlands Café Front of House Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for the presentation, maintenance and upkeep of the front of house operations. You’ll be supervising and developing the front of house team to deliver exceptional customer service to every guest. You’ll work closely with management to build a happy and effective team that makes a positive lasting impression on every customer. Hours are sociable with a shared pattern of evening and weekend work so flexibility is required. This is a permanent part time role.

An opportunity has arisen for a full time and part-time experienced Chef to join our team at the Long Ashes Leisure Club. We are looking for two individuals to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Leisure Club kitchen, providing the highest and most consistent standards of food preparation and delivery. You will be responsible for the development of the menu and the GP and will need to ensure that the kitchen and associated paperwork meets the 5-star standard required by the EHO at all times.
