Housekeeper

Tattenhall Marina offers a unique holiday destination with over 300 berths and our new and exclusive floating holiday lodges. We're looking for housekeepers to join our team; servicing holiday lodges on turnaround days.

Role responsibilities:

Service and sanitise lodges on turn around days, including changing bed linen and towels.

Clean lodge kitchens including the fridge, microwave oven, hob and work surfaces

Ensure crockery, cutlery and glassware is clean

Replenish toiletries and sundries

Sweep, vacuum and mop hard floors.

Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.

Clean mirrors and other glass surfaces.

Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste.

Clean bathrooms including sinks, showers and toilets

Complete basic inventory checks, replace or report missing or broken items

Check appliances are in working order, report any issues to the Manager or maintenance team

Check health and safety items are in situ such as fire extinguishers, fire blankets and smoke alarms

Highlight any health and safety hazards or maintenance issues to the site manager

Monitor stock levels of toiletries and linen - report to the manager when stock needs ordering.

Monitor the quality of mattresses, bedding, towels, furniture and items such as coat hangers, kettles and irons.

Provide additional support to other areas when required.

Adhere to company policies, procedures and health and safety laws.

Use cleaning equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

What you need

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
• Flexibility around working hours
• Ability to work weekends

Salary: From £9.50 per hour
